Akrochem Corporation offers an extensive line of color

options for the rubber and plastics industries.

Akrochem® Powder Colors

• Akrochem provides organic and inorganic pigment colors selected especially

for rubber and certain thermoplastic polymers. Selection of the proper color

pigment depends primarily on the application requirements for shade,

light stability, heat stability, and resistance to migration.

Akrosperse® Plasticizer Paste Colors

• Akrochem provides a broad line of organic and inorganic pigment plasticizer dispersions for

use in a wide range of systems. Applications suited for the use of these pastes include a variety

of organic rubber compounds, silicone rubber compounds, cast polyurethane, PVC, plastisol,

adhesives and coating applications.

• Akrosperse® Plasticizer Pastes are fnely ground three roll ink mill pastes to strict quality

standards. They are particularly useful where excellent pigment dispersion is required.

• Akrosperse® Plasticizer Pastes can be formulated to obtain a wide range of viscosities from

pourable material to the consistency of soft butter. They can be customized in a variety of

plasticizer systems such as DIDP, DOA, DINCH®, silicone fuid, Benzoate Ester, naphthenic oil,

paraffnic oil, resins, and polyols.

• Akrosperse® Plasticizer Pastes can be produced in small quantities; from gallons to

multiple drums.

Akrosperse® Water Paste Colors

• Akrochem provides a line of organic and inorganic aqueous pigment dispersions for use in

many water based systems.

• Akrosperse® Water Pastes are widely used by producers of latex rubber, adhesives and other

similar products. They contain anionic, nonionic, and a blend of both of these

type surfactants.

Akroplast® Color Concentrates and Single Pigment Dispersions (SPD)

• Akrochem provides a broad line of organic and inorganic pigment color concentrates and SPDs

for use in a wide range of plastic systems. Applications suited for the use of these concentrates

and SPDs include wire and cable, packaging, recreation, flm, automotive, calendared goods,

and profle extrusions.

• Akroplast® Color Concentrates and SPDs can be formulated into a wide variety of polymer

systems such as PVC, acrylic, vinyl copolymer, polyolefns, TPU, TPO, and nylon.

• Akroplast® Color Concentrates and Single Pigment Dispersions

are available in wide variety of fnished forms.
